Part 1

The man was bleeding, struggling to breathe. He lay on the cold floor of the old, crumbling building, the stench of dust and blood thick in the air.

He laughed weakly, a hollow sound that echoed through the empty walls. "It has started,” he said. “And it will never end.”

He coughed, blood staining his lips. “You have a daughter, right?” His laughter echoed again, sinister and cruel. “Her marriage… will never happen. They will come on the day of her marriage ”

A gunshot rang out. The man collapsed—dead. Silence fell, broken only by the distant creak of the building settling.

20 years later,

Laughter echoed through the Singhania mansion as Siya ran across the corridor. “Veer bhai, stop! Give me my phone!” she said, panting heavily.

Veer finally stopped and turned toward her, a mischievous smile on his face. “I won’t return it.”

Siya narrowed her eyes.

“ Return or I’ll kill you.”

Veer chuckled. “If you kill me, then who will cry at your wedding, huh?”

“I don’t care,” she snapped, snatching the phone from his hand.

“What’s so secret in your phone huh ?” he asked teasingly.

“Nothing,” she replied sharply, glaring at him.

Suddenly, Veer handed her a beautifully wrapped box.

“What’s this?” Siya asked curiously

“Open it.”

She did—and her face lit up instantly. Inside were a pair of delicate, beautiful bangles.

“Thank you, Veer bhai,” siya said softly, eyes shining.

Veer smiled. He knew how much she loved bangles.

Just then, Rajveer Singhania entered in the hall. Siya ran to him“Papa, look! Veer bought bangles for me.”

Rajveer smiled gently, but there was a flicker of sadness in his eyes. “This mansion won’t feel alive when you leave it, Siya.”

Siya hugged him tightly. “I’ll come to meet you, Papa.”

Veer joined them. “Me too.”

As the three of them stood there, holding each other, Siya broke the hug, stepping back slightly. Veer’s gaze fell on someone entering the hall.

A smile spread across his face. “Aarav! When did you come?” Veer said warmly.

Aarav’s eyes flickered toward Siya, and she instinctively turned her face away little annoyed.

Veer nudged her gently. “He’s here to see you too,” he said with a teasing grin.Siya sighed and said he is your friend not mine she take out bangles, wear it and smile.Rajveer smiled at her.

The moment was fleeting but tender, the warmth of family and friendship surrounding Siya But she didn't know that soon everything was going to be changed.

The whole mansion was buzzing with guests’ voices and music. After all, Rajveer Singhania's only daughter Siya was getting married.

Siya sat quietly in her room, dressed in a bridal lehenga,

heavy jewellery adorning her perfectly. She looked nothing less than a queen.

Her brother Veer entered the room with his friend Aarav. Veer was wearing a white kurta and Aarav sherwani . Siya noticed them through the mirror. She smiled at Veer but let out a small sigh when her eyes met Aarav’s reflection.

Veer smiled to himself—he knew very well that Siya and Aarav were sworn enemies. Aarav sighed too, but his eyes softened as he looked at her. She looked… beautiful.

“Siya, say goodbye to Aarav,” Veer said casually.

“Why?” she asked.

“He has a flight tonight.”

“Really?” Siya turned toward Aarav.

Aarav nodded.

“Oh,” she said dramatically, “you won’t even be here for my wedding? Then who will lift me during the varmala?”

“I will,” Veer said immediately.

“I won’t even if I don’t go,” Aarav added.

“Hm,” Siya hummed, then smiled faintly. “Goodbye, Aarav.”

Aarav smiled back. “Veer, let’s go.”Aarav Said

Veer nodded, and both of them left the room.

Siya smiled to herself. She was happy… yet somewhere deep inside, an uneasy feeling settled in her heart. She didn’t know why.

Rajveer came into the room. Siya looked at him and smiled. His eyes were already teary.

“I’m very happy that you’re getting married,” he said softly, “but now who will run around the whole mansion and scold me and Veer?”

Siya’s eyes filled with tears too.

“Don’t worry, Papa,” she said, forcing a smile. “I’ll come often. I won’t leave you both. And if needed, I’ll scold both of you from the phone.”

Rajveer laughed through his tears and pulled her into a tight hug. Siya hugged him back, unaware that this would be the last time she would ever hold her father like this.
