Part 3

Papa—!”

Siya cried out and ran toward the stairs. Her anklets made faint sounds as she moved, her tears blurring her vision.

Her veil slipped from her head and fell loosely over her shoulders, but she didn’t care.

She kept running.

Men dressed in black watched her, their cold gazes following her, yet Siya didn’t slow down—not even for a second.

She reached her father and fell to her knees, grabbing his hand tightly.

It was cold. She shout while crying someone please call ambulance but none moved .

Her world shattered in that moment. He was gone.

“Papa!” she screamed again, her cries echoing through the mansion as she broke down beside him.

From the first-floor balcony, her cousins and Paakhi watched in horror. Fear held them frozen in place. The chaos downstairs was too terrifying.

Paakhi couldn’t take it. Seeing Siya like that, she ran toward the stairs.

But midway, a relative grabbed her arm.

“No, girl. Don’t go,” she said firmly, refusing to let Paakhi move forward.

Paakhi struggled helplessly, her eyes fixed on Siya.

Downstairs, Siya cried uncontrollably, holding her father’s hand.

“Papa… what just happened?” she sobbed.

Suddenly—

Another gunshot rang through the air.

Siya heard the gunshot too, but she was already drowning in her cries. Her body shook as she sobbed beside her father.

Then—

the sound of heavy boots echoed behind her.

She flinched. Still crying, Siya slowly turned her face.

A tall man was walking toward her.

Her breath caught in her throat when she saw what he was dragging.

Veer.

His white kurta was stained deep red with blood. His eyes were closed, his body lifeless, as if he was no longer there at all.

“No… no…”

The man smirked as he reached her and roughly pushed Veer’s body beside Rajveer’s.

Siya screamed and immediately grabbed Veer’s hand.

It was cold.

Her fingers trembled. Her entire body went numb as the truth hit her—

Veer was gone too.

She cried uncontrollably, sitting between her father and her brother. This was her wedding day. She had never imagined such horror, not even in her worst nightmare.

“Someone… someone please call an ambulance,” she cried desperately.

“Please… maybe they’re alive.”

The tall man laughed softly. “They’re dead, girl.”

Siya lifted her face and glared at him with tear-filled eyes.

“Lower your eyes,” the man said coldly.

“Did you kill them?” she asked, her voice shaking with rage and pain.

“Yes,” he replied without hesitation. “I killed them.”

She froze as he continued,

“You don’t know this, but your father and my father were sworn enemies.”

Her heart skipped a beat. Her eyes widening.

“And did you know,” he added calmly,

“your groom is my cousin.”

Siya froze completely.

Paakhi froze as she saw Veer lying lifeless beside Rajveer. Both of them were gone.

Her hands trembled as she took out her phone and called Aarav.

Aarav’s phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and frowned.

“Why is Paakhi calling?” he muttered, then picked up.

On the other side, Paakhi was crying uncontrollably.

Aarav immediately stopped his car. “Paakhi, why are you crying?” he demanded.

“Say something.”

“Bhai… Veer Bhai and Uncle” Paakhi sobbed, her voice breaking.

“What happened to Veer bhai and uncle?” Aarav asked, fear creeping into his voice.

“Bhai… they’re dead,” she cried.

Aarav froze. His grip on the steering wheel tightened.

“What are you saying?”

“Please come, bhai,” Paakhi begged. “Siya… Siya didi—”

Her voice cracked, and the call disconnected.

Siya stood there in complete shock, tears streaming silently down her face. Slowly, she lifted her eyes and glared at the tall man.

“Lower your eyes,” he said coldly.

She laughed bitterly. “Otherwise what? What will you do?”

He smirked. “Father dead. Brother dead. An orphan now—still so arrogant. Will you fight me too?”

Her jaw clenched. “You’re a coward,” she snapped. “You bring men with guns and talk big?”

“Keep quiet girl,” he warned.

Siya stood up. “You took the lives of the people closest to me,” she said, her voice steady despite the tears. “Now I’ll kill you.”

She turned sharply toward the wall. A sword hung there as part of the décor. Siya grabbed it, her fingers tightening around the hilt.

Everyone watched in stunned silence. But None dared to move.

Holding the sword firmly, Siya walked straight toward the man.

Siya swung the sword at the tall man, but he dodged easily. She attacked again—once, twice—but each time he stepped back effortlessly .

He laughed mockingly. “Girl, you don’t even know how to hold a sword.”

Her anger exploded. With all her strength, she swung again—wild, furious. This time, he was too slow.

A sharp cut appeared on his arm.

That was it. His expression darkened instantly.

Enraged, he snatched the sword from her hand. Siya tried to fight back, but before she could react, he slapped her hard. She fell to the ground.

“How dare you?” he growled.

She looked up at him, blood on her lip, eyes burning. “You’re a coward,” she said. “Showing your power on a girl.”

He sighed in frustration. “I’ll kill you too.”

He pulled out his gun and pointed it at her.

Siya didn’t flinch. She just stared at him—fearless, broken, furious.

Then his gaze shifted. He looked at her bridal lehenga, her disheveled hair, the fire in her eyes. Slowly, something changed.

He lowered the gun… and threw it away.

Siya stared at him in shock.

“I won’t kill you easily,” he said coldly. “You’re young. You’re beautiful.”

She glared at him in pure hatred.

“Your mandap is outside,” he continued. “The priest has already arrived.”

Siya understood instantly what he meant. Her blood ran cold.

“I’ll marry you,” he said calmly, cruelly. “And I’ll make you remember every day what happens when someone dares to mess with Raj Mittal.”
