“Now go from here, Mr. Goenka,” Siya said, folding her arms. “We need to get ready.”
Aarav sighed and walked out, while Siya smirked in victory.
Paakhi wore jeans with a kurti, keeping it simple yet stylish.
Siya chose a simple suit, left her hair open, and did light makeup. Even in simplicity, she looked breathtaking.
Meanwhile, Aarav was standing with Kavita.
“Mom, I’m going to dinner with Siya,” he said.
“So? Go,” Kavita replied casually.
He hesitated. “Mom… I wanted to go alone. But Paakhi is also coming with us.”
Kavita raised an eyebrow. “Okay. I’ll forbid Paakhi from going.”
He shook his head. “No, Mom. Siya said she won’t go without Paakhi.”
Kavita smiled knowingly and shook her head. “That’s exactly why I like Siya.”
Just then, Siya and Paakhi arrived. Paakhi was holding Siya’s hand, both laughing about something.
Aarav looked at them for a moment… then turned his face away.
“You both sit in the car. I’m coming,” he said.
They walked ahead, still chatting happily.
Kavita looked at her son and said calmly, “Fine, go today. But next time, I’m sending only you two.”
He nodded and walked away, slightly frustrated.
The man who ruled the entire mansion, the business empire, and everyone around him… always surrendered in front of his bold, unstoppable wife.
Kavita paused for a moment and thought, Yes… it will be good for them.
Aarav got into the driver’s seat while Siya and Paakhi sat in the back, chatting and laughing nonstop. As he drove, he occasionally glanced at the rearview mirror. Seeing Siya smile so freely… he couldn’t help but smile too.
“Hey, at least talk to me,” he said. “I’m starting to feel like a driver.”
“No need,” Siya replied casually. “You are the driver.”
Paakhi burst into laughter.
Aarav sighed internally. He had planned to bring Siya alone, to talk to her properly… but clearly, that wasn’t happening tonight.
Soon, they reached a cozy restaurant.
He stepped out of the car, and both girls walked ahead, still talking. He followed behind them when his phone buzzed.
“Fine,” he said shortly and hung up.
A waiter approached him. “Good evening, sir. Your table is reserved.”
Siya noticed that and smiled slightly. So it was planned already…
They were led upstairs to a table by the window. The entire city was visible from there, glowing beautifully under the night lights.
Siya looked outside and said softly, “It’s beautiful.”
Aarav looked at her instead of the view.
“Yes,” he said. “Order.”
They placed their order, and soon the waiter left.
Paakhi looked at Aarav mischievously. “So, bhai… you reserved the table beforehand, right?”
“Yes,” he replied calmly.
Siya smiled sweetly and turned to Paakhi. “Thank you for coming here with me.”
Aarav immediately looked at siya and shot her a glare.
She only smiled wider — clearly enjoying this.
“Next time, Paakhi,” Siya continued casually, “we’ll go to XO Restaurant. It’s really nice. Your brother will bring us there too.”
Aarav sighed.
Paakhi pressed her lips together, trying hard not to laugh at her brother’s expression.
Aarav turned to her. “Paakhi, are you on my side or hers?”
Without hesitation, Paakhi hugged Siya and said, “I’m on my bhabhi’s side.”
Siya patted her head dramatically. “Good choice.”
Aarav leaned back in his chair. “Fine. Next time you need something, don’t come to me.”
Siya instantly replied, “Don’t worry, Paakhi. If you need anything, come to me.”
Paakhi nodded obediently.
Aaray shook his head, feeling defeated once again.
Aarav’s phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen.
“Mom.”
He picked up. “Yes, Mom?”
On the other side, Kavita’s voice sounded unusually cheerful. “Tell Siya that this Saturday you both have a flight.”
“Flight? Where?” he asked.
“To the Maldives. It’s from me. Your honeymoon trip.”
A slow smile spread across his face. “Fine, Mom. We’ll definitely go.”
He hung up.
Siya narrowed her eyes. She had sensed that smirk.
“What happened?” she asked suspiciously.
He leaned back in his chair, watching her carefully. “Mrs. Goenka, make sure to pack your bags before Saturday.”
She frowned. “Why?”
Paakhi looked between them curiously.
He smiled — that calm, dangerous smile. “Mom has gifted us a honeymoon trip.”
Siya froze.
“What?”
“Honeymoon,” he repeated casually.
“With you?” she asked in disbelief.
He nodded once.
“I am not going with you,” she said instantly.
He leaned slightly closer. “Mrs. Goenka… I am your husband. This time, you’re coming with me alone.”
She exhaled sharply, frustrated.
Just then, the food arrived.
He straightened. “Eat before it gets cold.”
But his eyes were still on her.
