Every employee in the room watched in stunned silence, their eyes wide with fear and awe. The clash between Rose’s fiery defiance and Jungkook’s controlled dominance left them frozen, unsure of how to react.
Without a backward glance, Rose stormed out of the meeting room, her anger evident in every step. The moment she left, a quiet murmur passed through the room, and one by one, the employees slinked out, leaving the two alone.
Easton, standing by the door, finally exhaled. “Sir… she’s… she’s fearless. No one dares speak to you like that.”
Jungkook leaned back in his chair, a dark, thrilling smirk curling his lips. “Ah… this girl… she’s driving me crazy,” he murmured, his eyes glinting with excitement. “I can’t wait…”
Easton blinked, shocked. “Sir… you’re… you’re not angry?”
Jungkook’s smile widened. “Angry?” he said softly, shaking his head. “No… this is better than any challenge I’ve faced. She’s bold, fearless… and I love it.”
The room felt charged with the energy of his obsession, and even Easton, who had seen his boss’s ruthlessness countless times, shivered at the intensity of Jungkook’s smirk
Rose’s black car roared down the streets, her hair whipping in the wind, her mind still ablaze with anger. How dare he… she fumed. Thinking he can decide my life? I’ll show him I’m not afraid of anyone—even him.
By the time she reached her mansion, her heart was still racing. She stormed into her room, slammed the door, and flopped onto her bed, glaring at the ceiling. Her anger simmered, but beneath it, there was a flicker of exhilaration—someone finally matched her boldness.
Meanwhile, miles away, Jungkook sat in his office, leaning back in his chair, his smirk widening. Easton watched silently as his boss’s eyes gleamed with a dangerous excitement.
“She’s fearless… even more than I imagined,” Jungkook murmured. “And she has no idea… no idea what I’m planning next.”
Easton shifted uncomfortably. “Sir… she could be reckless. Boldness like that… it’s dangerous.”
Jungkook’s smirk deepened, his voice low and deliberate. “Exactly, Easton. That’s why I want her. The more she resists, the more thrilling it becomes. She won’t know what hit her.”
The night settled over the city, but the tension between them crackled like electricity—two unstoppable forces, about to collide again.
Two days later, Mr. Min quietly entered Rose’s room, his face heavy with worry. “Please, Daughter… I can’t bear to see you in pain,” he said, his voice trembling. “Jungkook… he’s the king of the underworld. You can’t—”
“I am going, Father,” Rose interrupted firmly, her eyes blazing with stubborn determination. “That’s it. I don’t care what he is. I’m not afraid of him.”
Mr. Min’s heart clenched. “No… please, Rose. This will only create more problems for you. It’s dangerous he will find you from anywhere in whole world—”
“I said I’m going!” she snapped, cutting him off. Her will was unyielding, and he knew better than to argue with her when she was like this.
Without another word, she stormed out of the room, her long hair flowing behind her as she made a beeline for her black car. Her father rushed after her, hand outstretched, trying to stop her, but she ignored him completely.
Mr. Min stood frozen for a moment, watching her go. I know her anger… I know how stubborn she can be. But in which problem am I about to be stuck now…? he thought, worry etching deep lines across his face.
Rose sped through the streets, her black car roaring with power. But suddenly, a sleek black car pulled up directly in front of her, blocking her path. She let out an exasperated sigh, slammed the gear, and stepped out of her car.
From the shadows, Jungkook appeared, his dark eyes fixed on her, a dangerous smirk on his lips. “Where are you running, Princess? You can’t escape me,” he said, his tone both teasing and commanding.
“I’m not running,” Rose shot back, her arms crossed defiantly. “If I were running, I wouldn’t have told my father I’m going. I told him because I won’t marry you—ever!”
Jungkook’s smirk deepened. Without waiting for her to respond further, he strode toward her with the confidence of a man who always gets what he wants.
As Rose moved back toward her car, she noticed more black vehicles surrounding her—it was her father’s men, trying to intervene. But when she looked back, Jungkook was still there, unmoved, smirking with chilling certainty.
“You have no choice, Princess,” he said, his voice low and filled with menace. “You will marry me.”
Rose clenched her fists, anger burning in her eyes. “You’ll regret this, Jungkook… for sure. Keep that in your mind.”
The tension between them crackled in the air, a storm ready to erupt as two unyielding wills faced off.
Her father’s men quickly approached, bowing slightly. “Mam, please… come home,” one of them urged gently.
Rose glanced over her shoulder at Jungkook, who stood there with that same infuriating, confident smirk. She let out a sigh and said, “Okay,” before stepping into her black car. The engine roared to life, and she drove back to her mansion, her mind a whirlwind of frustration and helplessness.
As she arrived, her father rushed toward her, wrapping her in a tight hug. But Rose pulled away sharply, stepping back with her usual fiery spirit.
“Which kind of father are you?” she demanded, her voice tinged with both anger and despair. “You can’t even save your own daughter! I… I feel completely helpless right now!”
With that, she stormed toward her room, leaving her father standing in the hallway. Tears welled in his eyes as he watched her retreat, the painful truth settling deep in his heart: his daughter was right.
