Part 14

Meanwhile, Jungkook was meticulously preparing for the wedding, every detail planned to perfection. His excitement was palpable, a dangerous gleam in his eyes as he envisioned the day.

One afternoon, a large, elegant package arrived, delivered by Jungkook’s men. Rose tore it open to reveal a stunning gown—pure white, flowing, and regal. It was as if a princess herself had stepped out of a fairy tale, destined for a grand wedding.

But that wasn’t all. Another box sat beside the gown, containing delicate glass heels that shimmered in the light, perfectly paired with the ensemble. Every accessory, from the sparkling tiara to the intricate jewelry, was laid out in a separate glass case, each piece more beautiful than the last.

Rose studied it all, a mischievous smirk playing on her lips. “Let’s see, Jungkook,” she murmured, her eyes gleaming with defiance. “Let’s see how much you think you can control me.”

The room seemed to hold its breath, the calm before the storm, as Rose’s mind raced with schemes, already plotting to turn the perfect plan of her would-be captor into chaos.

Rose carefully lifted the gown from the box, letting the fabric cascade through her fingers. The soft silk and delicate lace felt almost too elegant for her wild, fearless personality—but she allowed herself a small smirk. Perfect for the princess they want me to be… but I am no one’s pawn.

She slipped into the gown, adjusting it to her comfort, refusing to let it restrict her bold movements. The glass heels sparkled under the light, but instead of wearing them, she held them in her hand, her mind racing with ideas. Let’s see how much control he really has…

She twirled once, letting the skirt flare, and then glanced at the accessories. Every tiara, every jewel screamed perfection—but for Rose, it was an invitation to rebel. She carefully set them aside, already imagining ways to make her own rules in this “perfect” wedding.

Meanwhile, miles away, Jungkook was in his office, reviewing every detail of the wedding plans. His dark eyes gleamed with anticipation. She’ll wear the gown… she’ll step into the heels… and she’ll finally see just how inescapable I am.

But as he pictured her, a thrill ran through him—not of anger, but of challenge. This was the first time anyone had dared to defy him with such audacity. I can’t wait to see how she fights me. How she tries to resist…

Both sides were preparing—one for rebellion, one for conquest. The stage was set, and neither would back down.

The long-awaited wedding day had finally arrived. Jungkook had already coordinated every detail with Mr. Min, and the venue was prepared to perfection.

At her mansion, a parlour assistant entered Rose’s room, carrying brushes, powders, and palettes. The girl paused when she saw Rose’s face. “Ma’am… you’re already so beautiful. You hardly need makeup,” she said softly, bowing her head. “I’ll just do a natural touch-up.”

Rose nodded, letting her work quietly, her sharp eyes glinting with impatience. Soon, the gown flowed perfectly around her, the soft silk hugging her like a second skin.

When the assistant handed her the glass heels, Rose shook her head sharply. “I won’t wear these. Bring my shoes—my own white ones,” she ordered, her tone leaving no room for argument.

The assistant hesitated, clearly intimidated, but Rose’s glare made the decision easy. She quickly fetched Rose’s preferred white shoes, which fit perfectly with her gown.

When Rose looked at herself in the mirror, she looked every bit the princess from a storybook—radiant, fearless, and utterly commanding in her beauty.

At that moment, her father entered. Rose turned to him with a confident, almost impatient smile. “Let’s go, Father,” she said firmly, cutting him off before he could say a word. Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of mischief and determination, and she strode forward, ready to face the day on her own terms.
