Part 64

The cool breeze moved softly around them.

For a few moments—

Neither of them spoke.

Then Siya finally broke the silence.

“You make things difficult for me, Aarav”

He turned toward her slightly and said “Why?”

Siya looked away toward the city lights.

“Because…” she whispered softly,

“You’ll regret loving me.”

Aarav’s expression didn’t change even for a second.“Never.”

His voice was calm.

Steady.

“I never regret my decisions.”

Siya smiled faintly, but sadness still lingered in her eyes.

“But Aarav…” she said quietly,

“I can’t.”

Before she could step away emotionally again—

Aarav gently held her hand.

“It’s fine,” he said softly.

“I’ll wait.”

Siya looked at him silently.

“What if I say never?”

Her voice lowered further.

“I’m not normal… our marriage isn’t normal.”

Aarav frowned slightly.

“Why do you think like this?”

Siya slowly shook her head.

“Don’t love someone this much when you know that person can’t love you back.”

For a second—

Aarav simply looked at her.

Then a soft smile appeared on his lips.“I don’t care.”

His thumb brushed lightly against her hand.

“I love that person… and I always will.”

Siya lowered her eyes.

Her chest ached hearing him say those words so easily.

“You’ll suffer,” she whispered.

Aarav smiled faintly and said “No.”

Then after a small pause—

“I’ll suffer more if I let go.”

Siya looked at him silently.

And for the first time—

She genuinely had no answer.

The rooftop suddenly felt too quiet.

Too close.

Too emotional.

So before the moment could become heavier—

Aarav spoke again casually,

“Well… honestly, I’ve been suffering since the beginning of this marriage.”

Siya immediately looked at him.

Aarav sighed dramatically.

“And I’m fully prepared to suffer for the rest of my life too.”he added.

Siya pushed his shoulder lightly.

“You suffer?” she said, glaring at him.

“And me? As if I’m living happily.”

Aarav smirked slightly and said “I never said you weren’t suffering.”

She shot him another glare before turning her face away again.

But this time—

There was no anger in it.

Only a smile she was trying very hard to hide.

After a pause, Siya finally spoke softly.

“We should go.”

Aarav nodded.

They walked back down.

He sat on the bike first.

Siya sat behind him quietly.

But just as the bike was about to start—

Aarav slightly twisted the throttle.

The bike jerked forward.

Siya immediately moved closer and held onto him.

Aarav smiled to himself.

Siya noticed instantly and said “You did that on purpose, right?”

“No,” he replied casually.

She hit his shoulder lightly.“Liar.”

But she didn’t let go.

Instead, she held him a little tighter as he started riding.

And despite everything—

A small smile stayed on her face the entire ride.

They reached the mansion.

Siya went straight to her room and changed.

Aarav also changed and returned, sitting on the couch with a few documents in his hand.

Silence settled comfortably between them.

Siya was sitting nearby when her phone suddenly buzzed.

She glanced at it.

“Raghav… at this hour?”

She picked up the call but Before she could say could say something—

Aarav immediately took the phone from her hand and said on call “We are busy.”

“Hey—” she protested lightly.

But Aarav had already answered.

Raghav said something from the other side.

Aarav didn’t even wait properly.“Yeah, okay.”

And hung up.

Siya stared at him.

“You cut the call?”

“Yes.”

She sighed, but there was a faint smile on her lips.

“Jealous, huh?”

Aarav didn’t even look up and said “I don’t care.”

Siya shook her head slightly, still smiling.

Then she lay down on the bed.

Within minutes—

Sleep took over her.

Aarav looked at her quietly.

And a soft smile appeared on his face.

The next morning—

Siya woke up slowly.

Aarav was already ready for office, dressed in his usual formal clothes.

She looked at him for a moment before saying casually,

“Whatever… you looked very different yesterday.”

Aarav adjusted his watch and looked at her and said “Just say I looked handsome.”

Siya immediately looked away and said “I said nothing.”

Aarav smiled faintly at her reaction.

Then he said,

“Get ready. Let’s go have breakfast together.”

She nodded softly.

Aarav turned slightly, replying to someone on a call.

Meanwhile, Siya casually picked up her phone.

But the moment she saw the message—

Her expression changed slightly.

Raghav: “Siya, we need to talk.”

For a second—

Her face became unreadable.

But before Aarav could notice anything—

She quietly got up and walked into the bathroom.

Later—

Both of them walked downstairs together and sat at the breakfast table.

Siya was unusually quiet.

Aarav noticed immediately.“What happened?”

She looked up“Nothing.”

Aarav leaned slightly toward her and said “No. Something’s wrong.”

For a second, Siya paused before replying calmly “I just couldn’t sleep properly yesterday.”

Aarav raised an eyebrow slightly.“Oh really?”

Then he added casually,“But you slept pretty early.”

Siya immediately shot him a glare.

Across the table, Paakhi tried hard not to laugh.

Then Paakhigrinned mischievously and said “So, bhabhi… did you enjoy yesterday?”

Siya paused for a second before nodding softly.

Aarav quietly smiled while eating.

Paakhi noticed instantly.

“And you, bhai,” Paakhi continued teasingly,

“You never even liked bikes. But yesterday you both went on one.”

Aarav paused.

Then silently turned his face away and continued eating.

Siya noticed his reaction and smiled softly.

Kavita sighed.

“Paakhi, stop teasing him and let him eat peacefully.”

Paakhi giggled and said “Okay.”

Siya shook her head lightly, unable to stop smiling.

And for the first time in a long while—

Everything felt normal again.

At least for a moment.

Aarav left for the office.

Meanwhile, Siya walked back to her room.

She glanced at Raghav’s message once again and sighed softly.

“I have to go…”

Without wasting more time, she called him.

Raghav picked up immediately.

“Siya?”

“Let’s meet there.”

“Okay.”

“After some time.”

Raghav paused for a second before asking carefully,

“You’re telling Aarav?”

Siya looked away slightly.

“Yes. I have to.”

“Oh,” he said quietly.

“Okay.”

She hung up.

Meanwhile, at the office—

Reshabh was standing in front of Aarav.

“Sir, after tomorrow —”

“I know.”

Reshabh nodded.

“Okay, sir.”

Then after a small hesitation, he asked carefully,

“Can I ask something?”

Aarav looked up from the file.

“Ask.”

Reshabh tried not to smile.

“Yesterday… when you took ma’am out… did she like it?”

Aarav paused.

For a moment, he said nothing.

Then quietly—

“Good.”

And immediately, Reshabh understood everything had gone well.

A faint smile appeared on his face before he lowered his gaze respectfully.

Just then—

Aarav’s phone buzzed.

The moment he saw the caller name—

A soft smile instantly appeared on his lips.

Reshabh noticed it immediately.

Ma’am, he thought internally.

Aarav picked up the call.

“Hello?”

On the other side, Siya spoke softly,

“Aarav…”

And just hearing her say his name like that—

Made something soften inside him instantly.

“Yes?”

“I’m going to meet Raghav.”

Aarav paused.

His jaw clenched slightly.

Siya immediately added,

“I told you, so don’t worry.”

Silence.

“Aarav?”

He finally spoke quietly,

“Whatever, Siya. Go… but don’t put yourself in danger.”

His voice lowered further.

“You know how much you matter to me.”

On the other side, Siya smiled faintly.

“Yeah… I know.”

Aarav closed his eyes briefly.

“And your revenge…”

“I won’t step back, Aarav”she replied.

A painful silence settled between them.

“That’s why I told you not to love me,” she whispered softly.

Aarav leaned back in his chair.

“Love doesn’t ask for permission, Siya.”

Then after a pause—

“It just happens.”

His voice softened.

“And now… I’ve fallen even harder.”

Siya’s heartbeat quickened.

Before he could say more, he added quietly,

“So before doing anything reckless…”

“Remember me too.”

A small pause.

“Because I can’t live without you.”

For the first time—

Siya had no reply immediately.

Her chest tightened hearing those words.

Then finally, she smiled softly and said,

“Okay, Mr. Goenka.”

A faint smile appeared on Aarav’s lips instantly.

And then—

She hung up.

Aarav slowly put his phone down.

Then quietly turned his face away.

Reshabh noticed the change in his expression immediately.

“Sir…?”

Aarav looked at him after a moment and said calmly,“Siya is going somewhere.”

Reshabh nodded.

“Sure, sir.”

But internally—

Aarav’s thoughts returned to only one person.

Raghav.

And once again—

That familiar feeling settled inside him.

As if he had lost against someone without even fighting.

He never shouted.

Never created scenes.

But it still affected him deeply.

Because no matter how much Siya softened toward him—

She still went to Raghav first for things she hid from everyone else.

After a moment, Aarav looked up again.

“You still didn’t find the main connection between singhania and mittals?”

Reshabh immediately lowered his head.“Our men are continuously digging, sir.”

Then after a pause, Reshabh added,“But the Mittals are very sharp.”

“It’s like they erased every trace of the past completely… as if nothing ever existed.”

Aarav sighed quietly.

And said nothing.

Because deep down—

He knew the truth hidden behind all this was far darker than they imagined.

Meanwhile—

Siya was sitting across from Raghav.

The atmosphere between them was serious this time.

Raghav looked at her carefully before speaking.

“This Sunday…”

Siya nodded slowly.

“I know.”

Raghav studied her face for a moment.

Then he understood immediately.

“And you’re going.”

“Yes.”she replied.

Raghav sighed heavily.

“Siya, it’s dangerous.”

But Siya’s eyes darkened instantly.

“The way they ruined my wedding…”

Her jaw clenched.

“I’ll ruin theirs too.”

Then Raghav asked carefully,

“And Aarav? Will you tell him?”

Siya paused for a moment before shaking her head.“No.”

Raghav looked at her quietly.

“He won’t let me go,” she said softly.

Raghav sighed faintly.

“Hm.”

Then after a brief silence, he asked,

“And yesterday… when he picked up your call?”

A small smile appeared on Siya’s lips instantly.“Yes.”

Her expression softened without her realizing.

“You know… he really cares for me.”

Raghav stayed silent and listened.

“He hates bikes,” Siya continued quietly,

“But he still learned riding one… just because of me.”

For some reason—

Her own heartbeat felt strange while saying it aloud.

Raghav looked at her carefully.

And for the first time—

He could clearly see the change in her.

Then Siya added softly,

“He loves me…”

A small pause.

“But I can’t become weak.”

Raghav didn’t say anything.

Because he knew—

This wasn’t weakness anymore.

This was fear.

Fear of losing herself in someone.

Then Siya suddenly smiled lightly.

“And he hung up your call because he’s jealous of you.”

Raghav laughed softly.

“And you’re enjoying that?”

Siya smiled too.

A genuine smile this time.

But a few steps away—

A man quietly stood at a distance.

His camera focused only on Siya.

Click.

Another picture.

And another.

In every photo—

Siya was visible clearly.

But Raghav’s face remained hidden not much visible.

Another man nearby noticed him.

His expression immediately changed.

Without wasting time, he stepped aside and made a call.

Reshabh picked up instantly“Sir.”

The man spoke in a low voice to reshabh on call “A suspicious person is secretly clicking ma’am’s pictures.”

For a second—

Reshabh froze.

“A stalker… maybe.”

His face darkened immediately.

“Don’t let anyone notice anything,” Reshabh ordered calmly.

“And you know what to do.”

The call ended.

Reshabh immediately walked toward Aarav’s office.“Sir.”

Aarav looked up from the file in his hand.

Reshabh spoke seriously,“A man is stalking ma’am.”

The moment those words left his mouth—

Aarav’s jaw clenched hard.

His eyes darkened instantly.

Reshabh added quickly,

“Don’t worry, sir. Our man is handling it already. He’ll update us soon.”

Aarav leaned back slowly and turned his face away.

Then after a brief silence, he spoke quietly,

“Just because we maintain a calm image in front of people…”

His voice lowered dangerously.

“Doesn’t mean we aren’t dangerous.”
